At Treecareireland we believe in the power of learning new skills. Many professional courses can take several days and include many distinct skills, but require candidates to have the time to spend. Throughout the year we try to come up with some shorter, but well structured workshops, which focus on key topics or new developments. Often these workshops or updates are just a day and can be a fun opportunity to learn new skills and meet new people. All workshops can be found on our online training calender and we try to give a months notice, so keep an eye out. If you are a Certified Arborist some of the workshops may also count towards your CEUs.
Free Chainsaw Awareness Workshops
We launched our FREE monthly Chainsaw Awareness workshops last year and have enjoyed great success so far, spreading the word about safe chainsaw skills and helping chainsaw owners save a few euros by learning some basic maintenace tips.
These instruction sessions are aimed at anyone who uses a chainsaw at work, on the farm or at home and would like to improve their awareness of basic chainsaw handling.
The workshops will be running on one saturday of every month from 11am to 2pm and is FREE OF CHARGE to all that register interest in the opt in box below. The three hour session will involve demonstrations of chainsaw sharpening, protective clothing and safe cutting techniques and discussion on relevent Health and Safety legislation, Risk assessment and training requirements

Dates for each monthly Free Chainsaw Workshop will be posted on our blog and on this Website. If we receive enough requests from particular regions we will happy to come to you. Please put your location or city in the opt-in provided.

If you are a member and have the facilities to host a workshop at your own location please indicate this when registering. We are happy to come to you! These are specially designed micro-skills courses with a focus on chainsaw and forestry skills. |
