Chainsaw PPE

The following protective items are required for chainsaw use:

	Helmet	EN397
	Hearing Protection	EN352
	Eye Protection	EN1731(visor), EN166(goggles)
	Gloves	EN381-7
	Trouser	EN381-5
	Boots	EN345-2

All Chainsaw PPE must comply with European Norms and be marked with a CE mark. Chainsaw protective clothing contains chain-clogging materials. A Class marking will often be indicated, which refers to the maximum chain speed that the material can protect against:
